Are you a well experienced chef with a passion for blending diverse flavors and cultural influences? We are on the hunt for an exceptional Head Chef at our already well established asian fusion restaurant to lead the kitchen of our relatively young restaurant located in Trondheim, Norway!
Responsibilities:
- Lead our culinary team in crafting innovative and delectable Asian fusion dishes in a “tasting menu” style of dining that will tantalize the taste buds of our guests.
- Help our development team Develop and execute menus that seamlessly blend traditional Asian flavors with modern culinary techniques, while incorporating locally-sourced Norwegian ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, ordering, and cost management to optimize profitability.
- Inspire, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef in a reputable restaurant.
- Deep understanding and appreciation of Asian cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail, with a track record of developing innovative and visually stunning dishes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
